ABOUT: THE FRAME

• The NEW FRAME at SIU is a moving image art platform in the Morris Library at SIU Carbondale.
• It was established in 2026 to be part of the public art collection on display in the library’s first floor study lounge.
• The NEW FRAME shows works by regional, national, and international artists, curated into exhibitions that rotate quarterly and play continuously during the library’s open hours.
